Einmal Ist Keinmal

Today is my birthday; I feel fragile.
My supplication: Please give me sincere advice. On anything, on anyone.

Advice: Be who you are. There are enough people trying to be someone else.

Thank you. Though, not to give back-talk to an elder, I'm still trying to figure out who I am.
How did your Kentucky Derby bets go? One of my instructors picked the horse that won 2nd and made off with a bundle!

I had the second place horse, but I only bet to win, so I'll have to wait until next year.

Read what you enjoy. Do what you love. Let compassion guide you in your dealings with others.

1. love & accept yourself and everything else will fall into place.

2. it's all about changing your inner conversation.

If you haven't noticed yet, I read journals in cycles. Monthly... semimonthly cycles. But the piece of advice posted of above prompts me to add my own brief two cents if it is still welcome.

Be who you are, but don't get held up by wondering about how genuine you are being. One of the most profound things I ever heard was that you can only be yourself.

Everything you say and everything you do is a part of who you are and are becoming. So choose who you want to be and become it. Say what you want to say, do what you want to do, and be who you want to be.
